My spring bars have worn the L brackets enough that it is difficult to remove the spring bars when I am unhooking. So I would like to get new L brackets. Do I need to replace my spring bars at the same time?

As long as the spring bars on your # BLU67FR are in good shape there shouldn't be a need to replace them. If they are significantly worn, bent, or damaged then I would replace them along with the L-Bracket Plates # BLU42QR. The correct spring bars for your system are the # BLU25FR. For the L-Brackets with the mounts you need the # BLU72QR.
