Question:
2016 cadillac escalade brake control. Watched install video for the in-dash control knob but dont see it on website. Is it available? Does the 2016 escalade require any additional wires run to the rear of vehicle or is everything under dash only?

I saw you were looking at the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller item # RED24FR brake controller and went ahead and linked a video below that we did on a 2020 Escalade to help you with the installation process. How you wire this controller depends on whether or not your 2016 Escalade came with the towing package. If you have the towing package you will want to use the Redarc Plug-and-Play Wiring Harness item # 331-TPH-010 to complete your installation without having to cut and splice wires. If your Escalade does not have the tow package you will need to hardwire the controller using the Universal Wiring Harness for Redarc Tow-Pro item # RED69FR. All of the wiring will be behind your dash.
We have a couple of other mounting options for the control knob that can go inside inserts in your dash. This will give you a clean factory look install. The Universal Mounting Panel for Redarc Tow-Pro Trailer Brake Controller Control Knob item # 331-TPSI-001 which measures 1-1/4 by 1 inch. There is also the option of using the Mounting Panel for Redarc Tow-Pro Trailer Brake Controller Control Knob item # 331-TPSI-002 for the more standard knock-out measuring 1-1/4 by 7/8 inch.
