Question:
On my 2012 Silverado 1500 LT, the stock hitch that came on the truck has 3 mounting bolt for each side of the frame and 2 bolts that attached to the bumper. I notice that the Curt 14301 doesnt have the bumper mounting holes/plate at least in the picture, is that ok or do I need another part number? Thank you.

Expert Reply:
The three mounting bolts on each side of the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 14301 will be more than enough to secure the trailer hitch to your 2012 Chevy Silverado 1500.
I've attached a video below that will help walk you through the installation.
