Question:

Need to replace my hitch on my 2010 Silverado 1500 5.3. It will be used for towing a boat. Should I go with a class 3 or 4? It could be used on boats up to 7000l s. Thanks

To ensure you have enough towing capacity with your 2010 Chevy Silverado 1500 I'd recommend a Class IV hitch like the Curt # 14301 as the Class III hitches for your truck are limited to 6,000 lb total trailer weight.
