I have a Dexter axle D-40 capacity 3700 lb, I want to go to a higher capacity leaf spring, which leaf spring do I need to get?

In order to find the correct leaf springs for a Dexter D-40 Axle you'll need to measure their unloaded length and keep in mind as the springs age/wear, they will stretch so the replacements are likely shorter. I don't know what length springs this specific axle uses but once you measure, you can filter our selection below by both weight and length. The 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring part # e22YR for example measures 26" long (eye to eye) and has a 4,000 lb weight capacity (per axle).
