Best way to seal the connection when replacing the female end. Will Teflon tape work?

For the Replacement Female Quick Disconnect for Demco Air Force One # DM48VR, this is the a direct replacement of the original. With that being said, it threads onto your existing hardware, so there is no need to secure it with Teflon tape for sealant.
