Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the female quick disconnect replacement for your Air Force One Supplemental Braking System. This is going to replace the female quick disconnect for your Demco Air Force One Supplemental Braking System. It's going to be very simple to get this installed. Maybe not all that easy.

So this little bead here is going to go on the outside of your air line. And then this inner tube here is going to go inside the air lines. So that's going to . Your air line's going to fit right in between those two pieces there. And that's the hardest part is to get that bead in place, and get your air line on there.

And then you'll just put this on the backside, tighten it down, and that bead is going to help prevent your air line from being pulled out. And then your other side is just your quick disconnect, like you're used to.So, if you are needing a replacement female quick disconnect for your Air Force One, this is an exact replacement from Demco. So you don't have to worry about fit or compatibility issues or anything like that. It's going to work just like the original did, and it should be pretty simple to get installed. It may just take you a few minutes to get everything threaded on and in place as it needs to be.

But overall, definitely something a do-it-yourselfer could do at home to make sure that your Air Force One system is operational again. So that's going to complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching.

This part is a perfect replacement for the female coupling on the Air Force One air line (the one that fits on the towed vehicle). As it turned out, after receiving this replacement, I discovered that the male coupling that interfaced with the motor home also needed to be replaced. Because I have a Fleetwood motor home with "BrakeSync", the male coupling is a larger size and etrailer doesn't carry that part; I needed an entire replacement air hose. That said, etrailer made the return of the unused couplings easy and painless, and because I ordered the complete hose assembly from them, shipping was also refunded.

I was impressed with the quality of the replacement female disconnect (SM99613) for the SMI Air Force One Supplemental Braking System.

The part was installed to replace the damaged female disconnect on the air jumper. It will restore the separate braking ability of the “toad” vehicle being pulled by our motorhome which is a safety factor.

Finally, the Customer Service Specialist was outstanding and delivery was fast.

Replace the quick disconnect on the airline. I turned the ferrule nut hand tight and then wrench tight one turn. Tested at 25 psi. Had a small leak, turned nut 1/4 more. No leak. Happy with the purchase.

Parts are still working flawlessly!

Easy breezy - just like a household plumbing compression fitting

This replacement female coupler is supplied by SMI, the manufacture of the Air Force One braking system. It is identical to the original female quick connect on the jumper and is also supplied for the motorhome end. I needed to replace the quick connect end of the jumper because it somehow released from the male end on the toad, and wore itself down to a nub as it dragged along the highway. By design, the Parker Rectus RF-25 quick disconnect isn't supposed to release once engaged. I unscrewed the worn piece and screwed on the new coupler - good as new. Be sure to pull test the connection and confirm that the system engages the brake before embarking on your trip.

Only needed the quick coupling, so removed damaged one from existing hose, disassembled new assembly and installed with thread tape. 10 minute job.

The product came as ordered and when expected, the ordering process was very easy and I got confirmation of the order right away as well as shipping details.

I ordered this as a replacement for my original air hose for the braking system after it had popped off and was drug on the ground. I obviously had not locked the collar in all the way when I hooked up, my bad!

I ordered several other products at the same time and was happy to get them all at the same time. Everything was securely packaged, I will order from etrailer again, and so should you.

The product was as described. After I had received the product I was able to find it cheaper from another vendor. I contacted etrailer showing them the documentation. As promised they refunded me the difference at 110%. They were true to their word with the LOWEST PRICE PLEDGE. The account was credited as soon as they had verified the difference in price.
