Question:
Hello. I have a 19 tandem kayak that weighs 85 lbs. Your trailers look excellent. I dont need a double rack or to carry a lot of weight. I would also like to be able to move it around by hand because of the limited parking area I have. What would you recommend? Thanks

For a great option that allows you to transport a kayak up to 20 feet long, I recommend the Malone LowBed MicroSport Trailer - 78" Crossbars # MPG464-LB along with the Yakima BigCatch # Y04091. With the MicroSport trailer, it measures 13' 3" long x 78" wide x 22" tall and is compatible with your 85-pound tandem kayak. Also, with the massive 150-pound weight capacity of the BigCatch, you can rest assured that you have a sturdy and safe setup. The BigCatch also comes with load straps/bow stern ties to secure your kayak to the trailer.
It is important to note that since the MircroSport's coupler sits at 18 inches from the ground, you most likely need a rise/drop ball mount with the required 2" ball. In order to make sure that the trailer is level to connect to your vehicle, I recommend measuring from the ground of your vehicle to the top of your hitch receiver opening. This will give you the rise or drop you need for your mount. I went ahead and attached a product listing of all of our 2" hitch rise/drop ball mounts with 2" balls we carry.
If you happen to need a hitch or a 4-way wiring harness for the trailer's tail lights, feel free to respond with your year/make/model of vehicle and I will be happy to assist you with the best hitch/harness.
For a great kayak cart to transport your kayak to and from the trailer in limited parking areas, I recommend the Malone WideTrakAT Large Kayak/Canoe Cart # MPG521. This cart has a 250-pount weight capacity and includes no-flat tires. Also, the mounting pads on the cart are designed specifically for wider-hulled kayaks.
I went ahead and attached helpful videos for you to check out.
