Review of the Malone Trailer Tongue Kickstand

Adam: Hi, everyone. Adam with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Trailer Tongue Kickstand for some of your Malone Trailers. These are going to fit on the XtraLight, also the MicroSport, and the MicroSportXT. So we are going to get a six-inch diameter wheel here. We are going to have a 360 degree pivot all the way around.

Also, it is going to have a galvanized steel construction to help resist against rust and corrosion, and this is going to be all the way compressed about 19 inches in height. So this is designed to get your trailer level and making hooking up to your ball on your vehicle a lot easier. Whenever you're ready to tow, you've just got to pull this spring loaded pin. It's going to rotate up and out of the way so you're ready to hit the road. All the mounting hardware is included so if you have other lightweight trailers that you want to put this on, you can, just make sure it's a relatively lighter trailer as we don't have a whole lot of weight capacity on this smaller jack here. And also keep in mind too, it doesn't have the ability to adjust, so something to keep in mind.

But we will be able to fit trailers with a height from about three and a half inches to four and a half inches and a width about four and a quarter inches as well. So, when installing this on the tongue of your trailer, we are going to use a 17 millimeter wrench on this side and a deep well 17 millimeter socket on the other side to get it nice and secured into place. So what this is going to be good for is this situation right here. We don't have to have it just sitting on the ground. It's going to be pretty difficult to back up to it and haul this up, especially if we have stuff loaded.

Luckily, all we really need to do is pull that pin, and that's going to be a lot easier to get it loaded up onto your vehicle. And if you don't back up directly to it, we can move it pretty well as well. And that just about does it for our look at the Trailer Tongue Kickstand for Malone Trailers.
