Auto Level Operation Of The Lippert Electric Ground Control TT Automatic Leveling System
Updated 05/09/2022 | Published 05/08/2022 >
Question:
I was wondering if it is normal when using this system and it completes its auto leveling process, my power tongue jack retracts and stays this way I understand this system supports the trailer but it seems odd the tongue jack essentially is just floating. Normally you would block the tongue jack on a trailer without this system. Just wanted to make sure this is normal?

Expert Reply:
The tongue jack for your Electric Ground Control TT Automatic 5-Point Travel Trailer Leveling System # LC672136 is supposed to lift up so that the other jacks can properly level out your trailer and does require you to go back and lower the tongue jack once the others are set in place.
