I would be happy to help you. The best hitch for your 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited X is going to be the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver item # C13065. This hitch is a great option due to its 500lb tongue weight rating and 5000lb trailer weight rating. It bolts directly to your Jeep's frame with included hardware.
If you don't have a factory wiring harness you will also need the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector item # 118727. If you are going to be pulling a trailer with brakes you will also need the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat - 10 Gauge Wires item # ETBC7. The kit includes a pre-wired 7- and 4-way trailer connector that mounts easily at the rear of your vehicle with an included bracket.
For a great brake controller I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller item # RED44FR. This is a proportional brake controller that will engage your trailer's brakes when your Jeep decelerates. It activates immediately and is not time delayed. The Tow-Pro Elite has a unique installation method that allows you to mount the main control unit out of sight behind your dash. The only part visible is the control knob.
If your Jeep has the factory towing package all you will need to complete your install is the Plug-and-Play Wiring Harness for Redarc Tow-Pro Trailer Brake Controllers item # RED77FR.
To round out your towing setup I recommend the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534. This towing kit will provide you with a 2" ball and a fixed ball mount with a 3/4" rise and 2" drop. It also includes a hitch pin and clip, hitch receiver lock with keys, hitch cover, and a storage case.
