Question:

I have a 16 ft trailer with electric brakes. All the wiring needs replaced. There are too many options s to choose from. Can you help me get the right thing?

When it comes to replacing your trailer wiring on your 16 foot trailer I recommend The 7-Way Molded Connector w/ 15 foot Cable - Trailer End # 50-67-106 will work. It is 18 foot and the wire gauges are as followed:

Black/White - 10 Gauge
Blue - 12 Gauge
Yellow/Green/Red/Brown - 14 Gauge

To make the wiring easier I would also recommend The Trailer Wiring Junction Box # 38656. This terminal junction box lets you easily connect your trailer wiring to your 7 way trailer connector. The Ring Terminals # 44-5310A is sold separately.
