Looking to add a hitch and wiring to my 2022 Toyota Highlander

Since you say you will be towing with your 2022 Toyota Highlander, I recommend going with theCurt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C45CR and Tekonsha wiring for your 2022 Toyota Highlander. The Curt has the highest towing capacity and can be used with a weight distribution system if desired. If your Highlander came with the factory tow package wiring you need the wiring # TK74FR but if it didn't come with the factory tow package wiring you need the wiring # TK99FR.
To complete your towing setup you also need a ball mount kit like the TowSmart Towing Starter Kit # TS94FR which comes with a 2" hitch ball on a 2" drop shank with a locking hitch pin.
