The only Class V hitch we offer for your 1998 GMC C/K Series 1 Ton pickup is the TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver item # TLC1201. This hitch fits the pickup with the standard or step bumper not the cab and chassis models. This is our highest capacity hitch receiver and it has a maximum gross towing weight of 17,000 lbs that increases to 20,000 lbs when used with Torklifts Everest Weight Distribution System item # TLWD1000. To utilize this system you will need the Adjustable Shank for TorkLift SuperHitch Trailer Hitches item # TLM9000. You will also need the Curt 2-5/16" Hitch Ball - 1-1/4" Diameter x 2-3/4" Long Shank - Chrome - 20,000 lbs item # C40008.
You are going to want to verify that you truck has the capacity to pull the weight of your boat and trailer. You will be able to find this information in your owners manual or by calling a local dealership and giving them your VIN.
