Question:
I am hiring on to a RV Transport Company out of Goshen, IN to haul all types of trailers/different heights. I have a 4 x 4 Ram 2500 with the Curt 17052 Weight Dist Hitch. On level ground, the ball is 2 feet off the ground at the lowest point. I need a bigger and Id prefer to use the hitch already have bought from etrailer. Will the Curt C49NR or the C89NR fit on the shank and will the holes line up from the 17052s hitch on either of those? ....Todd

Congrats on the new job, Todd!
You can definitely use the Curt Deep Drop Adjustable 2-Ball Mount - 2-1/2" Hitch - 11-3/4" Drop - 20K # C89NR and Curt Deep Drop Adjustable 2-Ball Mount - 2" Hitch - 10" Drop, 9" Rise - 15K # C49NR with your Curt MV Weight Distribution System - Round Bar - 10,000 lbs GTW, 1,000 lbs TW # C17052.
The MV uses a standard shank (the # C17100 to be specific) and the Deep Drop ball mounts are actually used as weight distribution shanks very often. We actually have the 2-1/2" one as just the shank with # C17132 if you didn't need the ball part.
2 feet is pretty tall, is your truck lifted?

Thanks. Ordered the C17132. You saved me $200, I thought I had to buy the shank and ball. Brand new stock truck. I was suprised at the height too. But "I measured twice" as the saying goes. Thanks again!! Todd D
