Higher Capacity Trailer Hitch that Fits 2017 BMW X5
Question:
Hi, I currently have a hitch installed on my 2017 BMW X5 40i edrive. I think it is an aftermarket hitch as the vehicle will tow 5900 but the hitch says no more than 3500 lbs. So I want to switch out for a more heavy duty hitch to tow an RV trailer at 4300 lbs. Do you have a hitch that can handle that and will install fully on my X5? Thanks.

For your 2017 BMW X5 we have the higher rated Curt hitch part # 13077 that you referenced which can tow trailers up to 6,000 lbs and has a 600 lb tongue weight rating. This would work great and would allow you to tow up to your full vehicle weight capacity.
