Hi, everybody. Andy here, with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Lippert Flat Wiper Seal for your RV Slide-Out. Now, this RV slide-out seal is gonna stop water and pests from getting into your living area. And let me get my ruler, here, just to go over some measurements with you. Looking at the overall width, as you can see, we're sitting right at 2 inches, but the width of that wiper itself, it's 1 1/4 inches, and this is sold per inch, so you'll simply select the number of inches that you want in the "quantity" box when you're placing the order.
So, again, sold by the inch. And this is gonna be a very easy installation. As you can see, this does have adhesive, so you'll just pull back that film to expose the adhesive when you are installing this in place. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today. Easy to install and effective seal. Expensive but worthwhile.
Returned due to thinking price was per foot, not inch. Product appeared good quality, just thought I was ordering 12’, not 12”.
Customer service was excellent, as always. Only reason for 2 star rating was pricing. If it wasn’t for the extreme price point, would have been 5 star for quality of product.
I saw the price of $3.35 and figured that was a fair price per foot so I thought I ordered nine feet. Imagine my surprise when I received a nine inch piece of the seal. $3.35 per inch is an absurd price and you folks should realize that no one is going to order nine inches of it. I’m not the first person to make that mistake. In the interest of good customer service perhaps future orders of ridiculously small quantities should trigger a follow-up email to ensure your customers understand that pricing is per inch and not per foot. The error is mine but it is an easy one to make and I think you should address it.
Fit like the the seals that came on my 2017 Jayce Melbourne rear slide out very easy to apply new seals. But very pricey! Easy to remove old seals, but the glue not so easy.
