SumoSprings That Will Fit F-53 Chassis With 7.3L V8 Engine

Question:

I bought a set of Sumo Springs for a Georgetown GT 7 RV F53 Ford Chasis and the lower bracket does not seem to fit. The included bolts do not appear to be long enough to reach around the factory leaf springs and the shock mount located on top of the leaf springs. Can you advise how to proceed? SSF-170-40-2. Thank you.

There was a generation change in the F-53 chassis, Ford changed the motor to the 7.3L V8. When they did this they decided they wanted to change the actual frame too. This is the issue for you. The part you have is designed for the last generation. You will need the SumoSprings linked above.
