Will the Steering Stabilizer put Strain on Steering Pump, and Will I Get Full Turning Radius?

Question:

Will this steering stabilizer RM-RBK13-RSSA put a lot of added stress on my steering pump? Will it restrict the turn radius? Ive already installed front and rear sway bars, big difference on my 2002 Newmar W22 Workhorse. But concerned about the steering stabilizer. Thanks,

Hello Joe,

Great question. The Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer with Mounting Brackets for Class A Motor Homes # RM-RBK13-RSSA is a great fit for you 2002 Newmar on a W22 Workhorse Chassis. The good news is that it is not going to put any extra strain on the steering pump and this is because the steering stabilizer is a passive part (it doesn’t force anything, it just helps control unwanted movement). The # RM-RBK13-RSSA is designed to give you full turning radius, the only thing that would prevent full turning radius is if the # RM-RBK13-RSSA is installed incorrectly. This will be a great addition to the sway bars you have already installed.
