Can You Carry a Dirt Bike with the TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension 36"
Updated 03/22/2022 | Published 03/21/2022 >
Question:
I have a Ford F350 with a super hitch and a dirt bike carrier that looks like Ultra-Fab carrier. The dirtbike and carrier are about 250lbs together. I have a camper cab that extends out 2foot from the hitch. I was looking to use a 36inch TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension and then put on the dirt bike rack. I know this would be great for hauling a trailer but didnt know about putting something like a dirtbike rack on it. Id appreciate input on whether this would be an appropriate route to take.

The tongue weight capacity of the TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension 36" part # TLE1536 is 200 lbs if you have the Hero (15K) and 650 lbs if you have the Original (20K) or Magnum (30K). Therefore, if you have the Hero you would likely not be able to get the combo under the capacity limit but if you have the Original or Magnum then you should be good to go. That said, both the weight of the bike and carrier will be factored into tongue weight.
