Does Curt Trailer Hitch For 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander Block Kick Sensor

Hi , I need to buy a hitch receiver for my 2022 outlander. It this hitch will do disturb to still use the kick sensor opener? I will need to drilling a hole to make a kick sensor visible to my swing leg or smth like that, or kick sensor will not a hide by a hitch and should still working properly? I had before curt hitch to my previous 2016 outlander but without a kick sensor... Thank you

The kick sensor will still be completely functional on your 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander when installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C87WR.
You will not need to drill any holes, the only thing that you'll have to do is kick your foot to either side of the receiver portion of the hitch instead of the 2 inch area where the receiver is, but the # C87WR will absolutely work properly.
The only other thing I wanted to mention, in case you were going to use this hitch for towing, is that if also need a wiring harness and bracket, the correct parts are the Mounting Bracket # 18144 and T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # TK46VR.
