Will this hitch interfere with the automatic kick sensor feature that causes the hatch to open when swinging your foot under the bumper?

I reached out to my contact at Curt and the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C87WR you were looking at for your 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander will partially block your hands free lift gate sensor, but it will still work.

You will just need to place your foot on either side of the receiver and move it in and out until you find the sweet spot for the sensor. After a few times it will be come second nature as to where to place your foot.
