Will The Curt Hitch C95CR Fit A 2022 Acura RDX A-Spec?

Question:
Hi. I just traded up to a 2022 Acura RDX A-Spec and want to get a hitch installed so I can carry a bike rack. I didn't see anything saying that the Curt C95CR wouldn't fit, but I wanted to make sure before biting the bullet. I also have my eye on the Yakima OnRamp. My wife and I decided to get a couple EBikes and this looks to be a good option for carrying them around with us. Yay or Nay?

The Curt # C95CR hitch will indeed fit your 2022 Acura RDX A-Spec, and actually all models of RDX in this model year. Though there will be no drilling involved, you will need to lower the exhaust and spare tire for the install. As long as your spare is under 18", it will be able to fit right back into place as well. This hitch also has a 350 pound tongue weight capacity, so it will have no problem handling a bike rack and e-bikes.
As to the Yakima OnRamp # Y36FR, this is actually a rack I have been recommending a lot lately. Since it can handle two 66 pound bikes and attaches to the frame in a unique way, there is no problem with e-bikes that have fenders, which a lot seem to have. The included cable lock for the bikes and Lifetime Warranty are just a couple big pluses in my book.
So I say yay to both. I do recommend getting the Yakima HitchLock # Y07235 with the bike rack though. This way you can make sure no one walks away with it. You can also swap out the key cores on both the cable lock on the bike rack and the HitchLock so they can match. If you choose to do this at some point, you will need the Yakima Same Key System (SKS) Lock Cores # Y07202 as it includes 2 keys and 2 cores.
