Question:

Tried to install Firestone HD spring helper airbags on my 18 Ram Power Wagon with the AEV HD suspension. There is a bracket on the drivers side rear that impinged on the airbags. Need a thinner solution. Im upgrading the rear suspension to handle a slide-in truck camper. Thanks for the help.

If you are looking for something smaller than the Firestone Ride-Rite Red Label Extreme Duty Air Helper Springs # F2706 to shore up the suspension on your 2018 Ram 2500 Power Wagon, you will want to look at a Timbren set up. Though I do prefer air bags, if they won't fit, then they won't fit. Granted I prefer them as they are adjustable so you can deflate them when you are not under load, but as you mentioned using a slide in camper, I would have steered you towards Timbren from the get go.

With that said, the Timbren Suspension Enhancement System # TDRTT3500E will be the best option for you. These are rated up to 8,000 pounds, so just under what the Firestone kit is, and I included a diagram with all the measurements you could need. However, all our suspension enhancement systems are designed for use with stock suspension, so I cannot 100% say if this will fit with your AEV HD Suspension kit.
