Heavy trailers, campers, or bed loads can cause your rear end to sag and throw off your steering and braking. These SumoSprings Solo helper springs add up to 1,400 lbs of support at 50-percent compression to keep your ride level and steady. Not every load is the same. These microcellular urethane springs compress easily at first for soft engagement when lightly loaded and can compress by as much as 80 percent under heavier weight. That progressive action keeps the ride smooth when empty but firm and stable when loaded, reducing harshness while maintaining control.
When a curve or crosswind tries to push you around, each spring works on its own to keep its side planted. This independent action helps compensate for uneven loads, cutting down on body roll and sway so your vehicle feels stable through turns or when entering driveways at an angle.

Very easy to install (new pickup, no rust!) and very happy with the performance. Good ride unloaded, good ride with a load, though have not worked them hard yet.
Had one on my 00 tacoma and loved them, unfortunately it was totaled. End up getting another set for my 22 pro4x.
Install on my 2022 Nissan Frontier was a breeze. I haven’t tested them out yet but they are WAY more heavy duty than the stops they replaced.
I've used these on other vehicles in the past and these ones worked good too. I initially installed them with the spacers but after hauling an empty trailer home with the truck barely setting on them I pulled the spacers out so it doesn't ride so rough. The blue ones offer plenty of additional support.
Made a big difference with squat and handling pulling my horse trailer loaded.
Cool product, will aid with trailer towing. Install was very easy on my 2023 frontier. Just be aware the oem has a bolt underneath it, so remove the cushion/stop and use a ratchet to take off old base. New one has integrated bolt that screws right into the vehicle frame. Thanks etrailer for exceptional service as always.

purchased the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs for rear axle approximately a year ago. They have worked perfectly and are still in great shape and working well. I have a Nissan Frontier Pro x and pull a two horse trailer with large tack room. It doesn't squat my truck down with these helper springs on it. I love this product and will purchase again when needed.
This is a great upgrade to the rear bump stop. Install the blues one on my 22 Frontier 4x4 CC. Very well made and easy to install. Still ride like factory. I haven’t load it up with stuff yet. I think it will do great. I still have have about 1/2 inch space between the spring and axle. That’s with the spacer install. I give this a 4 star for only one reason. Because when I received my springs. The threads were not quite clean at the tip. So i was having trouble installing them. But i do own a tap n dies set. So i was able to clean the threads up. Then it screw right on in. Would have been a 5 star if i didn’t have to clean the threads up. It a M8x1.25 pitch.
They work great when towing a trailer with no bottoming out and no rear squat and does not affect driving. Install it and forget it, no air lines and air bags to worry about. So far a great product!
Bought these to assist in load management because I am towing a 24’ lit travel trailer. Perfect, no more squat and unloaded ride quality is still like factory.
Bought these after returning another set that didn’t fit, even though they were listed for my vehicle. RicD helped me get the correct ones and made the return painless.
Install was a breeze, and fit perfectly. I did use the added spacer for additional preload. I have yet to tow my camper since adding them but pretty sure they will help significantly.

This did not fit the 2022 Nissan king cab. I did not see that this was called out in the documents provided on the site. I did find the etrailer hills very helpful but also, am being charged $18 as a return fee The ones which I need have brackets and are on their way.
Added picture of stock bump stops. Heads up!!

This is truly a 10 minute installation. I didn’t even need to raise the rear of the truck. There is room for the installation without jacking. I noticed the difference immediately on my bumpy, twisting back roads.
Great product. Work well and so easy to install. E-trailer is a great place to get the things you need. This was my first time ordering from them and they were outstanding. My go to from now on!
Just took my first trip to kanab Utah those made everything so perfect the rig was level road perfectly I overloaded on purpose practicing for my big trip in May thank you for your great product
Works great with tongue weight of travel trailer. Kept truck fairly level with only 1/2 inch of sag. A little stiff in ride suspension when hauling trailer, but we'll worth it.
Night and day difference in the ride. Trailer has excellent service as well. Wish Sumo Springs had a front suspension option for my 2026 Frontier.
The Sumo Springs worked great in my 2022 Nissan Frontier and stopped the rear from sagging under trailer load but rode like normal unloaded. Very good product and very easy to install.
I've never put on a easier product. I put the jack under the trailer hitch mount. Just lifted the body 1-2 inches and used a 12 mm socket . The socket removed the old ones and I hand tightened the new on. Literally took 10 minutes and a beer.

Works flawless. Aim my headlights a bit down but when theres weights back there, lights aim perfectly.
