Question:
I dont have much of a gap between the axle and spring even without the spacer on my 2020 Ram 2500 Laramie and without a load its a pretty stiff ride. TDRTT3500E is the recommended fit? is there a shorter backet? Works great with a load but a terrible comfort ride when not loaded.

Hey John, thanks for getting in touch. The brackets that come with the Timbren Suspension Enhancement Kit # TDRTT3500E are custom fitted for the 2020 Ram 2500, and there is no shorter bracket we can offer for this kit.
The # TDRTT3500E kit is a severe service kit. It is intended for vehicles that have a constant heavy load in the bed like a slide in camper or salt spreader. They will do great when under a load, but they are going to be very rough when unloaded. They are really not designed to be used on unloaded vehicles, so I am afraid I do not have a good solution for this. The only option will be to go with a different kit altogether.
If you plan to drive unloaded, the # TDR2500D kit will be a much better option. This is more of a "standard-duty" kit. The springs will not be as firm. They will offer good support when the truck is loaded, but they can still be a little bit rough when unloaded. That is just how Timbrens are. The hope is the # TDR2500D will be noticeably softer.
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

It was my understanding in the information provided with the springs that I would have at least an inch to inch and a half space between the spring and the plate on the axle, that would still give me the comfort ride and the springs wouldn’t come in contact until I put my slide in camper on the truck. I have no intention to put them on and take them off every time I used the camper so what I may do is lift the truck 2 inches and that should give me the space needed. I was hoping that you had a shorter bracket.
