Whats the difference between the curt and etrailer hitches for my 2022 Traverse?

The difference is that the Curt Trailer Hitch # CU29FR has a glossy black finish while the etrailer Trailer Hitch # e56YR has a matte black finish. Aside from that these will be exactly the same for your 2022 Chevy Traverse.

I recommend going with the etrailer hitch because the matte black coating will blend in better with the trim on your vehicle and do a better job at resisting damage from any road debris than the glossy finish will.

If you were looking to use this trailer hitch for a bike rack then I highly recommend the Yakima StageTwo Bike Rack # Y47VR. Yakima has added some top-notch features including elevated and adjustable trays for easier loading of bikes, and a handle on the end of the rack to activate the tilting/folding features which is much easier to use than having this device closer to the shank of the rack.
