Question:

I need to get a hitch and wiring installed on my 2022 Chevy Trax and am in need of guidance. The hitch was easy since the DT32GR is the only one that looks to be available for it, but there are 2 different wiring harnesses. Is one better than the other? Not sure which to go with. Thanks for your help.

As the Draw-Tite # DT32GR is the only hitch currently available for your 2022 Chevy Trax, it is definitely pretty straight forward. The wiring is slightly more difficult, but I do mean slightly and you will know which one is correct shortly after reading this. So not to keep you waiting, but let the anticipation rise a little bit.

And now for the big reveal. The Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118751 is for the LT and Premier models and the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118659 is for the LS models. Fireworks.

Both of these will need to have a wire run up to the battery for needed power (which is included with both kits), but other than that, they are plug and play. The plugs are different between the LT and Premier models and the LS models so definitely check to see which you have first.
