What hitch do you recommend for a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L, I se two options I just don't understand which one is better for towing heavier loads.

For your 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L, we have two options. We have the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C97JR, and the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit # DT42GR.

Both of these hitches offer a 7,500lbs maximum GTW and can be used with a weight distribution system, however, the Draw-Tite # DT42GR has a tongue weight that is rated 375lbs higher than # C97JR. So if you're after the hitch that has the highest ratings, then # DT42GR is what you want. Although, you won't have any more towing capacity than # C97JR.

If you need wiring, I recommend # C27BR, which is an easy plug-n-play kit that plugs directly into your factory wiring.

If you need a ball mount kit, I recommend # DT49MR. This kit includes a 2" ball, a ball mount that with 3/4" of rise, and 2" of drop, and, a hitch pin clip.

As a reminder, you are always going to be limited to the towing capacity of your vehicle, even if the hitch has a higher capacity.
