Question:

Hello Guys my name is Jose, I’m looking for a hitch for my Jeep Grand Cherokee L 2023 3 row seats I noticed that you have 2 differents products on your site, one that goes straight and the other one is curve, I’m wondering what is the difference and which will be fit best in my car. Thanks in advance

Hi Jose; the slight curve on the # DT42GR is just how Draw-Tite decided to design the hitch. The same is true for the straight cross tube of the Curt # C96NR. The different designs don't really have an advantage over each other and they have the same towing capacity.

Both will be hidden behind the bumper cover so appearance isn't really a concern either. If I were to recommend one it would be the Curt. Curt tends to add a thicker powder coat so it holds up better over time.

If you plan on towing you will also need wiring and a ball mount. The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C27BR will plug into the connection points behind your tail lights. This will provide you with a 4-way to power your trailer's signal lights. For a ball mount, check out the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches # C45534.
