Does the price include the wiring - I see no mention of it. If so, is it the 4 pin or 7 pin connection?

The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver item # e98845 does not come with a wiring harness. This is a custom fit 2" hitch receiver for a 2013 Dodge Journey.
The wiring harness you will need is determined by what kind of tail lights your Journey has. If you have LED's then you will need the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector item # 118536. This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness which is located behind the driver's and passenger's-side tail lights. It provides you with a 4-flat vehicle connector. The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector item # C56109 is the harness you will need if you have incandescent bulbs.
If you would like a 7-Way vehicle connector to control your trailer's brakes I recommend the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat - 10 Gauge Wires item # ETBC7. The kit includes a pre-wired 7- and 4-way trailer connector that mounts easily at the rear of your vehicle with an included bracket. This kit is designed for use on a vehicle with an existing 4-way flat trailer connector and plugs directly into it.
