Question:

I ordered the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector Item # C56109 as shown that this is the correct harness for my 2010 Dodge Journey. When attempting to install I noticed the driver side tail light does not come equipped with the connector for the harness. The wire run directly from the vehicle into the light. The passenger side has the connector and grounding screw. I am unable to locate any harness that shows will work with only the passenger side tail light connection for my vehicle. Can you assist?

The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56109 you have is a fit for your 2010 Dodge Journey so you definitely have the right connector. As for the install, when you remove the driver's side tail light you should notice a plug in the exact location as in the accompanying photo.

I cut out this photo from the linked installation video of the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118495 on a 2010 Dodge Journey so you can see exactly what should be there. That plug is how your tail lights get power so it would have to be there on both the driver and passenger side. I recommend watching the linked install video so you can get an exact idea of what to look for.
