Quickly and easily install a 4-way trailer connector on your vehicle with this custom harness. T-connector plugs directly into existing wiring - no cutting, splicing or tapping required.

Installation
This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's-side and passenger's-side tail lights. You will have to remove the tail light assemblies to access this harness.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

This will NOT work with LED lighting, only incandescent taillight bulbs.

I love the set up. Easy to install. Unfortunately I ordered the wrong part number needed for my car. Didn’t realize that a portion of tail rear lights are LED. So read carefully the description and make sure your part will fit.

I ordered the correct part and it worked and continues to work perfectly
Harness is not suited for a Dodge Journey. No place to secure the power pack and it keeps coming down and pulling the wiring out. Also causes problems with the cars rear light system. Took it to dealer and decided not to pay the exorbitent price to have it secured permanently.

I have a 2018 Dodge Journey with LED lights so I needed the converter to hook it up. The Converter does not fit well in the light area and its very hard to keep in place. Need to make it smaller or have some kind of magnet or velcrow which would enable easier hook up.
Ordered a wiring harness and it arrived promptly. It was very easy to install with easy to follow instructions. Would definitely recommend this product to everyone.

Still works fine.
The trailer wiring for my 2013 Journey SE, fit perfect and was easy to install (once I figured out how to unplug the factory plugs, there are small tabs that need to be depressed before unplugging). Wiring length was good, connectors were high quality. This was way better than the old fashion method of cutting and splicing. Well worth the money to do it right. My journey was the 4 cyl with incandescent bulbs.

The only thing I found wrong was the instruction sheet was incorrect. The way they are written the ground wire should have been on the drivers side, but was not, it was on the passenger side. Other than that it was great. When I bought this car brand new I had the Dodge dealer install a trailer hitch and wiring. They must had installed it wrong because it never worked right, and after awhile it did not work at all. Then the horn started blowing by itself, at all times of night. Now that I have removed that and installed this one the horn has stopped blowing by itself and my trailer lights work right.
I spent close to $160 getting, what they said was, the wire harness for my vehicle from [rental trailer place]. After 2.5 hrs of trying to install, I read more online to find out it was incompatible. So I searched online and found etrailer harness that cost less than 25 including shipping. I installed it in about 30 minutes and it works great. A couple plugs and routing the wires was all it took. I will come back to etrailer for future trailer needs. Thank you.
Great product, simple straight forward installation, directions are spot on. Extremely better than trying to splice wires. The only thing to add is a piece of wire loom to run wipers thru so when wires are zip tied to hitch it looks like professionall installation.
Great product. I've hard wired my own trailer connectors in the past but this is the way to go! Couldn't get any easier. I'm glad my vehicle didn't have the LED tail lights otherwise I would have needed the other model that requires running a power wire to the front of the vehicle.

Installed wiring harness on a 2015 Dodge Journey SE w/ halogen taillights. I chose this harness so I did not have to cut or splice any of the manufacturer's wires. The instructions were easy to follow and all connection were perfect. Installation took around 30 minutes

Plug and play. Very simple installation of the harness by removing the taillight lens assemblies, pug it in between the veh harness and the light bulb socket and run the harness to the hitch. Takes only minutes. Make sure to get the wires connected to the correct side of the car.
Excellent wiring harness! Best method of wiring trailer lights I've ever seen!
Worked well for the journey. I used the basic harness for incandescent bulbs. Easy to install.

Still working well. No problems with this setup.
I needed the hardware and wiring I purchased to install my receiver. The parts arrived fairly quick. I installed both items myself. The wiring was plug and play so made for a quick install. The process to order the items was so easy what I wasnt able to find customer service was able to help. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.
