Hitch was very good quality, and received within a few days with free shipping. Easy purchase. The harness did not fit and we are currently working on setting up a return for credit, and ordering the correct harness.
Oder came within 3 days after being shipped. Everything was in excellent shape and will start installing the hitch and wiring in the next couple of days.
product went on just like they showed in the video but the one thingI think should be added is how hard it actully is to get the exhaust is to get off without the specialty tool that they mention, but it did come off and the hitch went on witout a hitch.

The hitch installed perfect, very easy and looks good. Customer Service was GREAT with notifications on receiveing the order and tracking information, very refreshing to see, kudos. On the wiring part the right turn signal wire was about 2 feet short and was also described this way in the installation video. This was the only frustrating part for me I do have a stock of wire but of course did not have any the right guage or length so I had to run to the store with another car to get some. It would be a lot better for all if the manufacturer would make the green wire a little longer.

I found your company searching online and was immediately impressed by the video demonstration on my car model. After reading the many positivie reviews I decided to order the hitch. It arrived within 2 days of ordering. After watching the video and reading the instructions I began the install. Keep in mind I am a novice and did not have a lift but like the instructions said it should take about 90 minutes and it did! It looks great, was easy to install and your service was fantastic. The bike rack I ordered along with it was another great product. Thank you for delivering excellent service and providing us less experienced folks with the confidence to complete the work.
WRONG PART IT DOESN'T FIT the bolt holes don't match the cars holes.the hitch doesn't allow the spare tire to me re-installed. How do I get the correct part and shipping information. Note: I left the bolts in my car as hard as they were to install I didn't want to do install them again.
This was a very speedy shipment and the installation was even speedier thanks toalthe necessary tools and bolts that were included in the shipment the little snake to help pull the bolt through the holes made it very easy thank you so much would buy again through you

Fantastic product 1 year later! It was straight-forward to install and is holding up well. I primarily use it for light duty applications.
The hitch receiver works great!
This is a great option for someone who wanted an easier install instead of cutting the fascia for a concealed hitch. It does hang down a bit lower than the other options but it does not scrape the ground at all from my experience. The hardest part of the whole install was getting the rubber exhaust hangers loose. It took a lot of prying with WD40 because there were 3 rubber hangers on each side of the dual exhaust Dodge Journey. Once we got it loose we kept the exhaust from hanging with jack stands however a strap would have worked just as well. Then I used a floor jack to keep the hitch in place to tighten the bolts. Now we can take our bikes to Minnesota this summer!

Still love it, never bottom out and easier to install compared to the other options.
With the video, it was pretty easy. I did it by myself. I recommend getting help to line the carriage bolts up and don’t forget to undo the plug that’s in the video. Hardest part was undoing the muffler hangers.
This is the second trailer hitch I have purchased from etrailer because of engineering, quality and ease of installation!

So, I am seeing that this hitch (part #e98845) should be a confirmed fit for your 2018 Dodge Journey. We do have a video of the hitch being installed on the 2018 Dodge Journey as well (please see link) At time stamp 7:33, our installer shows a tip on how to hold the spacer block in place. In the meantime, let me get a return process started for you. We do have a hitch that is the same level of difficulty, however, you will not need to lower or remove the spare tire at all. Check out part # 75648, while we look more into this.
