For your 2022 Chevy Traverse I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 4 Axles - Proportional # 90195. This proportional brake controller is our most popular selling model and is transferable between automobiles. It automatically levels when mounted within a 360-degree vertical range. It includes a customizable LCD display, storable settings, 3 boost levels, battery protection and continuous diagnostics.

To install this trailer brake controller you'll also need a 4-pole connector and the # ETBC7.

If you don't already have a 4-pole connector then I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118761. This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located just beneath your vehicle, on the driver's side.

Once installation is complete, you can then install the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat - 10 Gauge Wires # ETBC7. I've attached a video below that will walk you through the process of installing in your 2022 Chevy Traverse.
