Question:
I'm looking for a hitch to add to my 2021 Ford Explorer King Ranch. I will be towing a trailer with this hitch so whatever is best for towing would be great. I don't know a lot about hitches so I thought I would ask and see what you have to say about it.

For towing with your 2021 Ford Explorer King Ranch, I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e29YR. This is a Class III hitch with a 2" receiver. It also has a concealed cross tube to help maintain the factory look. Although this is fairly similar to the Curt hitch # CU78FR and they either one would be great, but with the etrailer hitch, you get the same qualities at a lower price.
Since you will be towing you will also want a reliable 4-way wiring harness. The best choice is the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118599. This plugs into existing wiring on your vehicle and provides you with a 4-way connection to power your trailer's signal lights.
If you need a ball mount, the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900 is a great choice. This kit has a 1-7/8" and 2" ball, as well as a ball mount bag to store everything in. It also comes with two ball mounts, one with a 3/4" rise or 2" drop and the other with a 2-3/4" rise or 4" drop.
I have attached some review and installation videos for you to check out.
