Question:
Curt Hitch # C14360 Fit 2005

Expert Reply:
The # C14360 is for the 2006-2008 Ford F-150 without the factory receiver. For a Class IV hitch that is confirmed to fit your 2005 Ford F-150 I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C14357. This hitch has a 2" receiver with a maximum gross trailer weight of 10,000 lbs and tongue weight of 1,000 lbs. just like the # C14360. Keep in mind, if you have a factory hitch installed this will not fit your truck.
If you plan on doing some towing and don't have wiring, I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56031. This plugs into existing wiring to provide you with a 4-way connection to power a trailer's signal lights. From there you could install the Universal Installation Kit # ETBC7 if you need a 7-way.
To complete your setup, you will also need a ball mount # C45341, ball # 63840, and hitch pin and clip # C21500.
I have attached some review and installation videos for your reference.
