Could the Replacement T3 Cradle Work on an Older Thule Rack

We have a Thule rack from about 6 years ago where the cradle and strap are integral. One strap ripped. Can we repalce with a separate cradle and strap combination?

Expert Reply:
The Replacement T3 Cradle Body # 853-5829 that you referenced is designed to fit 1 inch diameter rack arms. If you measure the diameter of your rack arms and they are 1 inch in diameter the # 853-5829 could work. Without knowing what rack you have it is hard for me to know what diameter arms you might have.
For straps you would want the Replacement Strap # 753-3535.
