AJ: What's up everybody, it's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be checking out this replacement strap for Helium Pro bike racks and your Apex. It's going to replace one of your existing straps here, but you probably lost one or damaged it, and that's why you need it replaced. So you'd get this and you can pop it right back in where the old one fell out or broke off.We're going to jump right in and show you how to replace the strap. I suggest grabbing this side of it, kind of pushing on it a little bit and grabbing this side that you would feed it through, and pull and it should pop out. It's a little weird.
You got to push on it pretty good. Looks like it's starting to come out here. There we go. You want those to disengage so you can get that strap out and feed the new one in. And we'll just do that process in reverse.
Feed it through and let that part catch, snaps into place. Now you're good to go. It really is that easy. You just buy your replacement strap for whatever happened, if you lost one, you damaged it, now you can fix it and get your bike rack up and running like it used to be.Well, thanks for hanging out and I hope this helped.

Absolute wonderful company to work with! Customer support was over the top. Out with the old obsolete hardware and in with the new. With the new replacement cradles and straps, my 2014 Thule Helium rack is good to go for many years ahead.

Experiencing issues with Bike rack 1 - need to make very clear that straps, must be pulled completely until they snap into place. Lost and had to replace several prior to realizing this 2 - cable for locking is fairly useless. Thieves cut the cable D two other locks abs stole 3 bikes 3 - tightening mechanism for mount to trailer hitch has come loose not yet clear if track is still usable
