Is it possible to add an inline resister to dim these LED clearance lights? Or add one of those purpose-built modules that control the lights as such? This would allow the red LED lights to be used as clearance/brake.

LED lights use such little power, 0.047 amps for # MCL11CAKB, that it might be difficult to be able to put a dimmer of any kind on it. If you can find a dimmer that works at the milliamp level then it could work. This light can be used as a clearance light, as can the red version # MCL11RKB but they are not DOT approved as trailer brake lights.
