Question:

I see several tire/wheel combos with the Kenda Karrier ST145R12. The product page for Item # AM31199DX says it is M 81 mph rated but the video on the same product page says there is no speed rating so would be 65 mph. Which is it? Other products with apparently the same tire but no speed rating like tem # AM31202. Really like the aluminum wheels better but need a tire with the M speed rating. Thanks for your help!

I went out to the warehouse to look at the tire myself just to be sure. The Kenda Karrier S-Trail ST145/R12 Radial Tire w/ 12" White Spoke Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - LR D # AM31199DX does have a speed rating of M. It was 81 mph to be exact.

The Kenda S-Trail ST145R12 Radial Trailer Tire with 12" Aluminum Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range D # AM31202 probably came from a different location of manufacture that either doesn't stamp them the same or has not been updated yet. They also have a speed rating 81mph.

Since you mentioned aluminum, you could get the Aluminum Lynx Trailer Wheel - 12" x 4" Rim - 5 on 4-1/2 - Silver # LH45FR, and the Kenda Karrier S-Trail ST145/R12 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range D # AM10130. This is a great looking wheel, but they do not come pre-mounted. You could have them mounted at a local shop upon arrival. This is the same tire as above with the same 81 mph speed rating.

As stated in the videos if there is no speed rating on the tire you have to go with a 65-mph rating.
