Since you are looking to have different positions in which you can adjust the hitch height you will want to use a Shank for Gen-Y Adjustable Ball Mount # 325-GH-305 to fit the 2" x 2"(51mm x 51mm) receiver. The mount has 5 receiver tubes that are spaced apart for up to a 10" (25.4cm) drop and is rated for up to 10,000lbs(4535kg).
A Curt Ball Mount # C74WR will slide into the 5 receivers in either the 1"(2.54cm) rise or 2"(5.08cm) Drop position. The ball mount is rated for 8,000lbs(3629kg). The 50mm Hitch Ball # EH53C-C is rated for 8,000lbs(3629kg) and will fit this Curt ball mount.
