My tow bar pins were too small for the holes in my bumper. I used them as reducers to fill the tow points on a steel aftermarket bumper of a Jeep. The OD was nearly correct. I drifted them in,then drilled them out to accept tow pins. Worked well for that purpose.
I received my replacement receiver today. Sounds as though you received the one I sent back. The reducer for the ball worked great and the height for the trailer was just right. I tested it out and it works perfect with a level ride. Thanks for your knowledgeable help. Your company does a great job on finding the right solution for the hitch somebody would buy. Give them a try and you won't regret it.

Bushing makes it possible to use an 1 7/8 trailer ball on the larger bore hole used for a 2 inch trailer ball. Perfect fit on a Curtis 2 inch receiver.

the bushing worked perfect and the receiver is the perfect height. As I said in the original review it is still working great.
