When you’re towing big trailers or hauling serious weight, you need gear that won’t flinch. This Curt solid 2-ball mount is rated for up to 7,500 lbs gross towing weight with the 2" ball and 10,000 lbs with the 2-5/16" ball. The solid steel shank provides the strength to back those numbers up, giving you the confidence to pull heavy equipment, campers, or boats without worry.
If you tow more than one trailer, this setup saves time and hassle. The built-in dual balls mean you can switch between a 2" coupler and a 2-5/16" coupler by just removing the mount, flipping it over, and sliding it back into your receiver. No extra tools or loose parts—just one mount that covers multiple trailers.
Rust and road grime can eat up lesser mounts fast. This one’s protected with a black powder-coated steel shank to fight corrosion and polished chrome hitch balls for a clean finish that holds up through wet weather and long road trips. It stays looking sharp while taking on heavy use season after season.
This mount slides right into any 2" x 2" trailer hitch receiver and stays put thanks to its solid design. It measures 8-1/2" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of each ball, giving steady spacing for secure towing with zero rise or drop. Just pair it with your hitch pin or lock (sold separately), and you’re ready to haul.

Adam: What's going on everybody, Adam here with etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at your options for multi ball mounts by Curt. If you have a two inch hitch and multiple different trailers, you plan on hauling, we have a couple different ball mounts that are really going to be the Swiss army knife of ball mounts. You've got to buy one and it's going to take care of all those needs you may have when hauling. They have a couple of similarities and a couple of differences, so we're going to go over all of those with you now. So we're going to have some that are just going to have two balls and then some are going to have three.
These have pretty much the same exact specs, but there's a couple of little bit of differences.First things first, the three ball mount is going to include an inch and 7/8ths ball, and the two ball mount is not. The inch and 7/8ths ball is going to have a gross trailer weight of 5,000 pounds and a tongue weight of 500 pounds. Our two inch ball on all three is going to have a gross trailer weight of 7,500 pounds and a tongue weight of 750 pounds. And all three are also going to have a two and 5/16ths inch ball on top, and that's going to have a gross trailer weight of 10,000 pounds with a tongue weight of 1,000 pounds. All of them are going to be made of a steel construction.
They do have hollow shanks and they have a nice powder-coated finish. Both the three and the two are going to have an overall length of one foot. They have a steel construction with a hollow shank, and they are going to come with a powder-coated finish and two different color options. You can either get chrome or you can get the black powder-coated balls.Let's take some measurements. On the three ball from the center of the hitch pin hole to the inch and 7/8ths and two inch ball it's going to be about...
And then from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the two and 5/16ths ball, it is going to be about. On our two ball mount from the center of the hitch pin hole to the two inch and inch and 7/8ths ball to the very center, It's going to be about eight and a quarter inches. Now we can go ahead and put the ball mount in. I'm going to be using the two and 5/16ths inch ball, and I am going to be using etrailer lock, 5/8ths inch diameter, just because I like to have that added comfort whenever I leave my ball mount in my hitch.I have a stock Tahoe and it's really the average ride height for most vehicles you're going to be hauling with, so I really don't need a rise or drop. So this straight shank multi ball is perfect.
To sum it all up, if you don't have a vehicle that's a little bit higher than your stock ride height, maybe you have bigger tires, maybe a tiny bit of lift, this is going to be the great way to get a really cost-effective ball mount that's going to cover all of your bases. And that's going to do it for our look at the options for Curt multi ball mounts..

Nice heavy duty hitch. Works well with truck and dump trailer. Long 10 inches from ball to pin hole tailgate comes down and doesn't hit trailer jack
We always call etrailer, first, whenever we need anything for our Motor home or our trailer. They are so knowledgeable and supportive, it takes all the worry out of ordering wrong. They even helped us with ordering Thule carrier and cross bars!
Thank You!!!!
Received everything I ordered within just a few days of placing order. etrailer was great about informing me of a product they were currently out of, but supplied a date that the products should received. I was surprised to find out that my order was filled and shipped in a couple of days after hearing of the back order. Will refer etrailer to friends for quality products and service!
its perfect...thank you
I just went through the purchase process looking for a very specific hitch that I could not find anywhere else on my own. So I called e trailer and spoke with Preston there, and it took some time and diligence, but he found exactly what I needed (a hitch for that would fit a specific farm implement to tow behind a truck), and had it to my door within a couple of days! The service was great and I appreciate the fact that he took the extra time to research and narrow down the right choice for me. Thank you!

Literally a solid hitch, not just hollow tubing. I use to tow my boat and is rated more than I need but why cut it close! This hitch also has enough room for my Rock Tamers to be used.
Sooooooo - what do you think? Are we doing OK? I think so. You should come join us. On Friday we are leaving for the Texas Big Bend region.
I do have ONE NEED! But I don't think you can help me. I need a padded zipper-case to put the hitch in when I remove it from the JEEP. I never leave the hitch in when off-roading. But the one I am using is long!
Don't see the needed to make it from solid steel.. heavy, seems wasteful. Wish I would have gotten the hollow one with chromed balls, same load capacity. Can't imagine the powder coat holding up long.
Very solid part.
Quality Product
Really impressed with the quick delivery and the product is better than expected.
Works as expected.
Just what I needed. Fast shipping as always. Great!
Wow. Heavy duty. This is literally a single solid piece. No fasteners. No welds. May exceed your vehicle's tongue weight (just kidding). This takes care of both of my trailers' tendency to sit a little "nose low".
You can also use this for weight traini ng.
This is the most customer focused well organized company I've ever done business with. Both on a personal and business level.
