Does The Curt Manual Override Button Turn The Brakes On Full Blast When Pressed

Question:

Is there any modulation with this and the app? Does it apply full brake or if you hold it for a second it starts to apply break but not all the way? Feathering trailer brake for like going down long incline

As the Manual Override Button for Curt Echo Brake Controller # C83HR is just the manual override, it will engage the brakes fully when pressed. If you have the controller set pretty low, you could use it to feather the brakes a bit, but you will need to turn it back up once out of the decline. Of course I do need to say that a phone should not be messed with while driving, so if you have a passenger when towing, they could definitely accomplish this.
