Will The Curt C13394 Hitch Fit A 2017 Toyota Highlander Limited
Updated 10/18/2021 | Published 10/17/2021 >
Question:
I looked at Toyota Dealer site and it showed two different types- one for Le, XLE. And another for Limited models. I’m assuming that slight differences in bumper design may be the reason. Please confirm if this is an issue and if I need to cut and trim plastic bumper for this hitch to properly sit in place. Thanks

The Curt # C13394 will actually fit all versions of Toyota Highlander in the 2017 model year, so there will be no issues there. There will be trimming required with all the hitches to get them installed on your vehicle, but I included an install video we did of this hitch on a 2017 Highlander for your to check out. This shows exactly what will be needed. The instructions that come included with the hitch also lays out where you need to trim as well. This will also fit with a full size spare tire stowed under vehicle unless it is on an Aluminum rim. These are too wide and the hitch will interfere with it.
