Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Replacement Red Lens. Now, this is going to replace one red lens on your Optronics LED Clearance Side Marker Trailer Light. For your reference, I am including our item number for that light that this is going to fit. And just to give you the further confidence that this is going to work for you, let me give you the diameter.
So as you can see, we're sitting right at two and a half inches in diameter. In case you we're wondering the thickness, sitting right at three eighths of an inch thick. Now, this is the direct replacement from Optronics. What that means for you is you can trust that this is going to fit right in place of the original. Whether the original got damaged or it was misplaced, this is going to be exactly what you need.
You're not gonna have to worry about fitment issues, compatibility issues, or anything like that. Product is as advertised. In my case, the Kodiak Cub uses a thicker lens than this one so i had to attach this lens with adhesive. Not the fault of the provider though. Difficult to find parts for the Kodiak Cub in general. The manufacturer makes so many different models, they don't even have specific manuals on many of them and they are generic.
Initially I did not know that my order was coming in two (2) shipments. The first shipment - Replacement Red Lens, arrived on 9/17. I called and talked to Kim, who was very helpful and let me know that the Amber Lenses were shipped from a separate warehouse. I just checked and that shipment should arrive by 9/21.
