I have a 98 Dodge 2500 with Factory 7 pin connector will this work

There isn't really a plug-in play replacement 7-way for a 1998 Dodge Ram Pickup. That said, we do still have options and for this I recommend the Hopkins Endurance Quick-Install 7-Way Trailer Connector with Universal Pigtail Harness part # HM47210. This new trailer connector will simply splice on to the existing wires once you cut the old plug off. It's the best option we have for replacement.
