The Pollak Replacement 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector Socket for Dodge/Chrysler # PK11893-11933 will fit 1999 Dodge Ram 2500's that came with a 7-way connection from the factory. The 7-way socket will require drilling of new holes as it does not match the OEM bolt pattern.
If your Ram did not come from the factory with a 7-way you will need the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness # HM42115 along with a Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7. This will allow you to install a Brake Controller # 90195 on your Ram and have all the circuits working on the 7-way plug.
