There are a couple options currently available for the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E. There is the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver, # C77ER and the Draw-Tite Max-Frame, # DT92MR. Each of these options install in a similar way and do so without the need for welding or drilling new holes in the frame. These options simply bolt to the frame of your 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E to mounting locations that already exist in the vehicle from the OEM. I suggest the Draw-Tite Max-Frame, # DT92MR option.

We always suggest that you refer to your specific vehicles owners manual for towing and cargo specs. From information currently available to me (Sept. 2021) there is no clear towing capacity publicly published for the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E so this definitely provides cause to refer to your specific owners manual for the most accurate information.

The only real difference between the Curt # C77ER and Draw-Tite Max-Frame, # DT92MR options are the manufacturers listed capacities, as each are a Class III hitch with a 2" x 2" receiver opening and a concealed cross tube design. The Curt is listed with a 2,000lb. towing limit and 200lb. tongue weight capacity while the Draw-Tite has a 3,500lb. towing capacity and a 350lb. tongue weight limit. This is relative when using accessories such as a cargo carrier or a bike rack. If for example, you are using your E-vehicle to carry your E-bike, that electric bike will probably weigh significantly more than a non-motorized bicycle. The Draw-Tite Max-Frame, # DT92MR option will less limiting.
